Becky, - I am finding that useful is a relative concept. Sometimes we need to make ourselves useful in ways that differ from our past perceptions of usefulness. For me - knowing you are there as an Alpha and that you know - to some extent - how I feel is being useful. I read last night about a Jewish Holocaust victim who told Eric Cantor - the politician that just lost big time in the Pennsylvania Primary - as he was lamenting his loss: "Misery is a choice, not a condition."
